Visit Valletta For A Touch Of HistoryIf you are looking for some history for your holiday to Valletta, you want to see St John''s Square. The architecture along reminds you of something out of an old black and white movie about ancient times. The artwork in the church is old and quite impressive. The church is dark with very dim lights. It adds to the beauty and history of the church. The church is just another one of the beautiful building that still standing in Valletta that was built during the early centuries. You will want to spend a few hours exploring the church and seeing the detail that went into making this church, what it is today. It is a beautifully designed historical building. The Upper Barakka Gardens are something you should see when you take your holiday to Valletta. The gardens date back to the middle 1660's and are the just beautiful. There are some modifications done over the years, but the area is still the same that it was so many years ago. You can see forever from the gardens and it does provide a spectacular view of the harbor and close by cities. If you think heights do not bother you, you can actually get a little closer to the edge of the look out and see exactly how high you are up in the sky. The area of Valletta offers so much to see. It is not a place for beach swimming, but people do enjoy sunning on the rocks that border the ocean. It is warming and you do not get all full of sand. The nice thing is that you can sit for hours on the rocks watching the water and some of the marine life that pop out once and awhile. You will find a trip to Valletta simply enjoyable and relaxing without all the tourist hype and crowds.
