buildings and the artworks actually feel like they are taking you back in time. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore is spectacular attraction to see. It is considered the crown jewel of Florence. You will be amazed by the marble inlaid floor inside of the Cathedral. You will see the attention to detail and the spectacular dome top. Five famous architects actually worked on this Cathedral and made it famous.
The Old Bridge in Florence is considered to be one of the oldest bridges that is the most photographed by visitors. There are shops on the bridge that are known for their beautiful jewelry. There was also a goldsmith Benvenuto Cellini who occupied the bridge in the early 1900s. You will find many museums, old churches and monasteries in Florence. The history of Florence is just amazing for someone to see. You cannot imagine a city being so old with so many buildings still standing. It is truly a delight to visit.
There are walking tours and biking tours that you can take while visiting Florence. The guides speak English very well and you learn so much more than if you would go touring by yourself. There is the Original and Best Walking Tours as well as the Tuscany Bike Tour. Either tour is going to make your stay in Florence worthwhile. Seeing Florence with a bike tour or walking tour allows you to see more of the area that you would not see if you were on a bus or in her car. You will see some amazing views and the tours do highlight different areas of Florence.
The Basillica di San Miniato al Monte is a great place to the view the area. The view from this area is spectacular. You can see more of Florence from on top of this Hill and you can from anywhere else. The architecture of the building itself is from the 11th and 13th century. The city of Florence is never boring. It is an exciting city and it always offers more fun than you would expect. You can see beautiful sunsets, old architecture, historical sites and some wonderful exhibits at the museums while visiting Florence.
