So Many Unusual Things To Do In Madeira

When you are planning your holiday to Madeira, you might want to visit some places that a bit unusual or usually missed by visitors. The Centro das Artes Casas das Mudas art gallery is an exciting place

to visit. This art gallery is just twenty minutes from Funchal on the cliff. The architecture of the galley itself is amazing, but the exhibits are another story. The view of the sea from the cliff is amazing as well as the entertainment that is found at the gallery. There are music and dance performances that will keep you entertained for hours.

Plan the time for your holiday to Madeira so you have enough time for a visit to the gardens in the hills know as the Quinta do Palheiro Ferreiro. The famous gardens are alive all year long. The flowers and the trees keep visitors intrigued for hours. The estate also has a golf course so you can enjoy a round of golf and still enjoy the many flowers and trees. If you are up for a walk, you can take the mountain walk, which takes about two hours. You can enjoy a day or even stay at the hotel on the estate. It is a truly enjoyable day in the mountains.

Holidays to Madeira should include a day or two on the only beach in the area. It is a black sand beach with a beautiful view of the sea. Porto Formosa is a small beach, but you can also go to Porto Santo for five miles of beach. If you want to visit Porto Santo, you can take the ferry from Funchal, which is cheaper in price than taking the short plane trip. The ferry ride is relaxing and you can feel the slight warm breeze blowing across your face. The area is beautiful to see from the water instead of in an airplane.

If you want more adventure in your travels, your holiday to Madeira should include a boat tour. You will see the Cabo Girao cliffs and the whales in the area. The most exciting thing you will see is the Monk seals. This is an area that only a few boats can access, so may sure you take the boat tour that can get you into this area. The entire trip will be exciting, you just have to remember to see the unusual things as well as some of the already known attractions.
