One thing you want to do while visiting Galway Bay besides the day trip is to sit and watch the sunset over the bay. If you are looking for a spectacular sunset, you will want to see sun setting over the bay. It is the most incredible sunset you have ever seen. You have probably seen many sunsets, but nothing as warm and beautiful as this sunset. You might even enjoy spending a day tour to the Quiet Man Film location. The movie was made in the area and the location has remained the same without any change since. It is like walking around a filming studio. If you have ever seen the movie, you will appreciate the area and see how nothing is changed from the day they filmed. You will find that there are many things to do and see in the outdoors of Galway. You do not have to miss the beautiful weather by being indoors to enjoy yourself.
