As you get away from Fira, things calm down a bit and it is more relaxing and laid back. The beaches are lined with taverns and restaurants so there is always something to drink or eat. You can even take a volcano boat trip. This boat tour takes you by the volcano and the hot springs. Oia is another town you should visit after the boat tour. It is a city with a charming history. You will have to walk up about two hundred and seventy steps from the boat dock to reach the city.
During the summer months, your holiday to Santorini will include jazz festivals. It seems that every time you turn around there is another festival with good music and fun. The nightlife is just another attraction of Santorini. You can choose to get out and dance the night away or have a quiet dinner for two looking out over the water. Fira is the place to find people partying into the night. The outer lying areas are more relaxed and structured as far as what type of entertainment you would have available.
The restaurants serve the most amazing dishes and the shopping is incredible. The cobble streets are where you will find hundreds of stores and boutiques to buy souvenirs and whatever else you might want. Most restaurants are family friendly and the Greeks recognize the family as a whole. The entire experience is incredible. You will have a great time on your holiday to Santorini. Whether it is for water activities or some sightseeing, you will have a great time. The people are open and inviting and the cities are beautiful and intriguing.
