A Few Popular Attractions For Your Holiday To Pisa

Holidays to Pisa are extraordinary. It is not just another city in Tuscany. It is where you will find the bell tower as well as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The leaning Tower of Pisa is extraordinary to see. There are two hundred and ninety-four steps that you have to climb to reach the top. This work of art has stood since the middle 1170's. The architecture and the detail are just amazing. The tower is inviting for both young and old. Many people do not understand that the client was due to the ground sinking. The Leaning Tower of Pisa was not built that way.

While you are on Pisa, you can take some amazing day trips. One of the day trips is to the Certosa di Pisa. This monastery was finally finished in the 18th century and is a great example of the style used on many of the Italian buildings in Italy. Then you want to see the town of San Miniato. Because this town is set on the hills, you can see the countryside from every angle. They say that the oldest building in this town is from the eighth century. There is a castle called Rocca that was built back in the 12th century and has a look of red brick facade.

One thing you must do when you take your holiday to Pisa is take the audio tour by yourself. You can get the audio and map and walk around the city following the map and it will tell you about everything and the area in general. It is a fantastic tour that helps you see and understand the history and buildings. The tour will include the Field of Miracles, which is a must see in Pisa. You will see the Saint Agatha Chapel, Monumental Graveyard, Sinopias Museum and other attractions of the area.

You will find that the restaurants and the nightclubs are just as enjoyable as the attractions. The area cuisine is Italian, but you will find other restaurants that serve other types of cuisine from other countries. The pizzerias are incredible. It is always divine to taste a real Italian pizza. The nightclubs offer dancing, singing and other types of entertainment. It is a great time out on the town. It is easy to find a place close to many of the hotels in Pisa so you do not need any transportation.
