Nature Lovers Enjoy A Holiday To OxfordThe parks and meadows of oxford are what is going to make your holiday to Oxford enjoyable if you are a nature lover. The parks are just beautiful to see. The University Parks is huge with a sports complex, exotic plants and gardens. The area has always been a wonderful place to sit and smell the roses so to speak. It is a truly a place to explore what nature has to offer. There is a museum on the parkland as well. You will see the Cherwell River, which is viewable from the banks on the west side of the park. The Christ Church Meadows is another popular place to take in the breathtaking view and enjoy a picnic lunch. You can view the Thames and Cherwell rivers from this park. You will also see some cattle grazing in the lower part of the park and in the upper section is where the sports fields are located. This is a private park, but during the day, the church does allow visitors to spend the day exploring the park and seeing the beauty of the area. You can even get a glance at the boathouses on the river. This is a nice place to spend the day. Cuttestowe Park is not just an ordinary park, it is a place to visit and enjoy some activities as well. The park has a tennis courts, duck pond, aviary, crazy golf and a pool for children. The trees are amazing. There are white willows and horse chestnut trees. The flowers are everywhere you look. A very impressive park that can be enjoyed by everyone. The footpath is an excellent place to walk and see the scenery. One could sit for hours and watch the activity within the park as well as enjoy a picnic lunch. If you visit the Magdalen College grounds, you will see the Addison Walk. This footpath is wonderful to walk. It is located by the Cherwell River and has a view of the bridge and tower. You can see the beautiful gardens and the deer. The park has always been a delight for visitors to Oxford. Many people have spent hours just watching the deer and walking around the footpaths seeing the beauty of the area. Your holiday to Oxford to see nature can surely be appreciated here. The nice thing is that everything you can do is free.
