Stockholm is the capitol of Sweden and it is a city that is going to thrill you. The fresh country air comes from the abundance of countryside that is green and beautiful. Because of all the economic

growth going on in Stockholm, you would not expect to see so much countryside, but the Swede's do value their beautiful field and wooded areas and do not let economic growth take away from the beauty of the land. You can visit the museums, stages and the streets of Stockholm where you will find something to intrigue you and keep you content. Keep in mind that the area is Swedish and they like to party.
Aside from the famous Swedish beers, Stockholm has something for the kids to enjoy. The fairy tale house is designed with stories from Astrid Lindgren's books. The Junibacken is a great place to take the kids, even the adults. You will see how the fairy tales tell a story even without the words. Another great place to see in Stockholm is the Royal Warship Vasa. It is a sunken ship that was brought up with all the treasure is onboard. The Nordic Museum is another good place to take the family. It has some fascinating exhibits that will intrigue everyone.
City Hall is a high Tower you can climb to the top of and see a fantastic view of the city. Your cheap holidays to Stockholm will be so enjoyable because there is so much to see and do. The Museum of the medieval Stockholm has some ancient statues and some incredible exhibits. You can also visit the Drottningholm Palace for the Royal family lives or the Kungliga Slottet Royal Palace. The palace is are something for everyone to see you would not believe the architecture the history and the culture behind the Palace's. The Kungliga Slottet has 600 rooms all decorated with artworks and tapestries.
The Swedish Museum of natural history is another place to visit. This Museum has educational programs and many exhibits that you can enjoy. With all the museums and attractions to see in Stockholm you will have plenty to do, but you do want to take time for some relaxation. The restaurants and the nightlife in Stockholm are very exciting while the cuisine is delightful and the dancing and live music at night is something everyone enjoys after a long day.
