Family Vacation In Luxor The weather is hot and the beaches are filled with people soaking up the sun. If you are planning your cheap holidays to Luxor to include the family, you will want to find some things that everyone will enjoy. There are a few things to keep in mind when taking the family. Always drink plenty of water when you are sightseeing. The heat can cause dehydration and severe cramping if you do not drink enough water. There are museums to see as well as some historical monuments. One experience children are going to enjoy is a horse drawn carriage ride around the city. If you feel very adventurous, you might take a donkey ride to the Valley of the Kings. This is fun for everyone as well as a hot air balloon ride. The ride takes you over and around the West Bank. The museums that are family friendly include the Mummification Museum where kids see first hand what mummies are all about and learn some facts. Another museum is the Luxor History Museum, it is not as exciting for kids, but everyone will enjoy the exhibits. Cheap holidays to Luxor are going to be fun for everyone. All the ancient ruins are exciting for kids to see. They never get to experience adventures like this except in history books. It is always more enjoyable to see first hand what the ruins are about and how they cam to be. Some of the day trips are nice for the family to enjoy. The boat ride up the Nile at night is spectacular. Felucca Trip is a place to rent a sailboat and enjoy your ride. Another fun thing to do is take the ferry across the Nile and experience the ride to the West Bank. This only takes about ten minutes to do. When you are planning your cheap holidays to Luxor, do not forget to take a camel ride. This is more exciting for the kids and some adults, but it gives you the feel for how people used to get around the desert. The trip is amazing and very comfortable. Before you leave, visit the Karnak Temple. Visit at night when they have the sound and light show. This shows you a picture about how it was in the early Egyptian days. The family will enjoy the visit to Luxor and bring home some great memories to share with family and friends.
