You could easily spend the entire day exploring the grounds and seeing the beauty surrounding Castle Howard. This is where you want to have your camera ready.

The next place comes from a historical era, when they had the prisoner of war camp. Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum is a spectacular museum with many exhibits that tell the story of the war, World War II to the exact. The Museum was built in the prisoner of war camp and still has many historical features. If you start at one end of the museum and work your way to the other end, it will give you a detailed account of the war. This is a place for attracts many tourists and history buffs. It is really amazing to see the displays and exhibits.

A holiday to York would not be complete unless you see Harewood House. This is a place where the entire family can spend the day. There is the house of course, an adventure playground for the kids, a bird garden and beautiful flowers everywhere. This place has made York adventurous and exciting for families. There is another place called Harlow Carr, which is another place for the family to enjoy. They have a tearoom, beautiful shops and beautiful gardens. You could spend the entire day exploring the fifty-eight acres and still never see everything.

The architecture alone is what makes York so historical. The Micklegate Bar Museum, the National Railway Museum and the Newburgh Priority Estate are just a few other historical buildings that you must see. There is always something to see, something to do and somewhere to be when you visit York. Cheap holidays to York get even better when you explore some of the nightlife in can dine in some of the restaurants that have the finest cuisine. You will want to make sure you have the camera along and plenty of batteries, so you do not miss all the beautiful sights of York.
